I'm excited because today's topic is something that I can honestly talk about for hours, and I always do when I’m coaching this subject in my life coaching program, Mindset Makeover Academy. I always get up on my soap box when I talk about self-love and self-worth.

Most people think that self love is the end all be all and honestly, it’s not. The self love you see on social media is not real self love. Self love is not just pampering yourself; it’s a verb- you need to love yourself! Self love is how you go about loving yourself. Actually, it’s better to have a high self worth.

Self worth is how you feel about yourself and the value on which you place your existence. You can have high self love and low self worth, but you can’t have high self worth and not have high self love. This can show up in every aspect of your life- relationships and how you interact with other people. This is the program your mind and body run on.

Here’s a few things you can do:

  1. journal about what you value about yourself

  2. creating external boundaries

  3. creating internal boundaries- make promises to yourself and keep them!
