Positive Self Worth

This was my 5th competition in the span of 2 years. I love discipline, routine and structure. I love the weekly countdown & watching my body change every week. But while all those things were a positive for me IN prep, they contributed to my negative body image afterwards once I started to gain weight. When your self worth is wrapped up in the aesthetics of your body & the physical progress you make week to week its HARD to see it change even when it is for the better. ⁣

One way you can train your mind against this (in prep and post) is to practice finding new ways of progress. Your physical progress doesn't define your self worth! ⁣

I encourage you to define your self worth by your actions (not your outcomes). Did you win the day? Did you do experience self growth? Did you stick to your 3 Key Habits?⁣⁣⁣
