Ep. 002 3 Steps to Call in More Courageous Confidence
This week we discuss the importance of being both courageous and confident and how the two play together. You will learn how I use both courage and confidence in my daily life to get things accomplished and how they’ve helped me move past my own negative self-talk, especially post competition.
We discuss the benefits of taking small leaps and jumps- whether personally or professionally. This can be the smallest step on a giant staircase or a few steps in a smaller staircase. The most important piece, is taking those small steps, even if you can’t see the end result and doing them before you’re really ready.
We discuss the importance of knowing how you work and operate. Only you know how you will respond to different situations, and it’s important for you to get to know that part of yourself. I use my own perfectionism to help illustrate how I use visualization to help me use my perfectionism as a benefit.
Our last important piece is being able to ask yourself, “what would my highest self do?” This helps us begin to act as our highest self before we feel like it. Once we begin to act as our highest self would, we start to transform into that person.
