Ep. 015 You Have A Self Love Problem Not a Weight Loss Problem

What if you actually had a self love problem not a weight loss problem? In this weeks episode I'm dissecting 4 different scenarios where you might have a self love problem. Do you find yourself in any of these?

For a long time I thought I had a weight loss problem when in reality, I had a self love problem.

Scenario #1: You’re designating your future happiness to your future leaner self (I‘ll be happy when…)

In this scenario, you believe you’ll be happier once you reach that next goal. “I’ll buy new clothes when I’m 10 pounds lighter.” “I’ll ask that guy out when I’m 10 pounds lighter.”

Scenario #2: You regularly speak negatively to yourself

Check in with yourself and ask yourself “what are the things I’m saying to myself?” More often than not, they are probably negative things. Newsflash, you’re always going to find something negative to say about yourself.

Scenario #3: You can’t say “I’m worthy of existence” like “The sky is blue”

This is a key indication that your self worth is super low. You need to know that you are worth of existence. Losing weight is not going to make you feel better about yourself.

Scenario #4: You’ve been on this cycle over and over again.

Having a healthy lifestyle means you can maintain your lifestyle over a long period of time. Doing diets over and over again is not how you take care of yourself. If you truly love yourself, you don’t do these huge fluctuations in weight.
