Ep. 004 How To Overcome Diet Mentality

 

This episode is ALL about Diet Mentality- what it is and how it’s holding you back. We also discuss how connection creates happiness, not isolation. This is the first step- identifying it. The next step is action. We discuss the action steps in overcoming Diet Mentality for your nutrition, fitness & mindset, and how you can break up with your coach (if that’s what you need). 

Our first step is being able to identify how diet mentality holds you back. We get into the nitty gritty: isolation, fear of rejection, and inability to connect. Starting with isolation- not going out due to “goals” that haven’t been met. Getting into fear of rejection and not taking action because you don’t feel like you look good enough. Lastly, diving into an inability to connect because you have judgment towards others and yourself and you feel like no one understands you.  

Our next step is in assessing how you can overcome Diet Mentality with: 

  • Your nutrition 

  • Your fitness 

  • Your mindset

Your mindset is a huge part of this and you want to be able to:

  • 1. Assess what’s not working

  • 2. Have compassion for yourself 

  • 3. Commit to a different way of life
